Approach

Every venture is a system of forces.

We read ventures from every angle — creative, cultural, financial, technical, narrative — because no idea holds up from a single perspective.

01 Thesis

A venture is never a single thing.

A venture is a creative idea, a financial structure, a cultural moment, a technical proposition, a set of relationships between people. The angle from which you look at it determines what you see — and what you miss.

We read ventures from every angle, because that is the only way to know if they hold. Creative, cultural, financial, technical, narrative, sustainable. Each angle is a disciplinary lens; together, a complete picture.

This is how we de-risk, and how we build ventures that last.

02 Practice

Change the angle. See the structure.

There is a moment in any project when the angle that matters most is the one outside the project itself. The one above. The one that sees the structure that holds the work together.

This is the discipline we practice: a layer of awareness above the work that watches, challenges, probes, coaches. The work below remains multi-disciplinary; what changes is that we know what we're building, and why.

No system can be fully described from within itself. You always need an angle from outside. Perspective is the de-risk.

03 Forms

One studio. Many forms.

M Studio operates as the umbrella. Beneath it sit three working lines and the practice that ties them together — ventures we own and operate, projects and partnerships we take on with businesses and institutions, and the strategic, creative, and educational work that runs across all of it.

Ventures

Companies we own and operate, building across media, technology, education, and capital.

Projects & Partnerships

Engagements with large businesses, cultural institutions, and government bodies.

Strategy & Creative

Consulting at the intersection of business design, creative direction, and venture thinking.

Education & Programs

Frameworks, programs, and content shared with founders, operators, and partners.

Across these forms, M Studio has supported more than 500 founders, contributed to 13 exits and 2 IPOs, and partnered with Google, Disney, the Italian Trade Agency, and the institutions building toward LA 2028. See the work →

04 Capital

Capital is a structure, not a fuel.

We treat capital as something to be engineered, not burned. The conventional venture model accepts catastrophic downside as the price of asymmetric upside — and leaves outcomes to be decided binarily by the market. We reject that.

Every capital injection is designed before it is deployed. Downside compressed through structural seniority, aligned incentives, and tax architecture. Upside preserved intact. Risk is transferred, not absorbed. Outcomes are shaped, not awaited.

05 AI

AI as another angle.

We use AI the way we use perspective: as another lens on the work. Not a replacement for human craft, but a multiplier of it.

Across every venture and project, AI accelerates research, sharpens analysis, expands creative range, and lets us hold more complexity in view at once. It is built into how we operate — and into the systems we build with our partners. It does not decide what to build. It expands what becomes possible to build.
